We Shall Not Die Now
‘We Shall Not Die Now’ is a feature-length documentary film exploring the Holocaust. The film is directed, filmed, edited, and scored by Ashton, who spent five months interviewing over twenty-five survivors, liberators, scholars, and others associated with the subject. Ashton also filmed throughout the country of Poland at all of the major camps, landmarks and cities. The film features a main theme composed by Grammy-nominated composer, Benjamin Wallfisch (IT, Blade Runner 2049, Hidden Figures, etc). The film was released worldwide digitally on December 5th, 2019 and premiered at the Heartland International Film Festival on October 12th and won the audience choice award for the Indiana Spotlight category. The film, as well as the extended director’s cut, is available to watch on Amazon Prime Video, Vimeo on Demand, and YouTube.
